Blessings

Recently the Lord has blessed Jason and I with a townhouse, it is perfect, close to church and to all our daily activities. Jason will move in at the end of January and i will join him after our wedding. We are so thankful to the Lord for blessing us, as we have been praying for a place to live and he has given us something way above what we prayed for. Praise HIM...

Youth Girls sleepover.

In October i had the youth girls over at my house to watch a dvd called the Bride Wore White by Dannah Ghresh, its all about sexual purity. Wow, we were all so blessed by this dvd teaching. We also had some pampering done. Well here are some pictures:

My cousins wedding

My cousin got married on the 10 TH November at Thabong wedding venue in Brakpan, was a stunning wedding and i wish them a great life together, may the Lord draw them closer each day.

We recently got all my mom and dads wedding photos scanned and put into a fancy album and onto a disc. Thought i would share with you some pictures of their wedding. They got married on the 1 December 1990.

Knysna holiday

Last week we were in Knysna,Cape Town for a week,what a great blessing it was to get some rest before exams start up this term.What a great time with family.

MY dad got saved a few months ago and recently got baptised, what grace the Lord has showen to my family. What a great work HE has done. Praise the Lord.

A few updates

We had a sunday school fun evening last term where we had to dress up like hobos, needless to say everyone looked pretty dirty. Here are a few pictures of candice dressed for the evening. I did not get many picture though.

I know this update is needed and i give my apologises to those who do follow my blog. Yes, i will be posting more regulary now. Thank you to all those who do follow my blog. Well i will be giving you a follow up on the past few months that i have not posted.

Power Camp 2012

We went on our annual youth power camp. Was a great experience, where like minded christians gathered to hear from Gods word. I did not get any pictures there was hardly anytime for this however i do have the logo.This years theme was the olympics. We heard messages from Andrew a great preacher on Gods sovereignty and compassion. Jason and my team(the yellow team) won the overall for first place. Our team really worked hard and did many obstacles. Many of the youth could not even walk today due to sore muscles! Looking forward to next year.They even made the men leaders do Ballet. Will add this video as soon as i have it.

God Grace

Over four years the Lord has saved my whole immediate family.What a great blessing this is and what a great God we serve. I got saved in 2009, my sister got saved in 2010, my mom in 2011 and then my dad got saved this year 2012.

Wedding Prep

As i prepare for Jason and my big day. I become more and more excited each day. However i never thought that planning a wedding would take so much energy and strength. Im so glad we have the Lord in this time to guide us in each decision. 8th December 2013, hope the time goes fast until then.

Exciting news

Dear friends of our recieved great news last week Monday that they were pregnant. What a blessing. Keep them in your prayers that the Lord will continue to grow their family and that the baby may be kept safe.

Holiday Bible Club

We had our annual holiday bible club from the 9-13 July this year. Our theme was on the life of Paul. How much i have learnt through it and growen in my walk with the Lord. I did not get any pics( wasnt any time for it) Heres our logo instead.

Fathers day

So fathers day is coming up on Saturday any one have ideas to spoil there dads. We should thank God each and everyday for our dads and grandfathers.

Youth Night

2 weeks ago friday at youth one of the activities was to build a structure out of Marshmellows and pasta. Here are some results.... lol... was fun i enjoyed watching everyone do it.Afterwards we watch two sessions by John Piper called "Seeing and Savouring Jesus Christ".

STUDYING

It has surely been a long hectic semester, but thank-fully its over tomorrow. God has truly carried me through this. Thought i would add a picture of Miley feeling a little run down with all this work herself.Sleep on my laptop

Quick Catch up

MY apologise for not posting in a while, things have been really hectic. Wedding planning, studies and HBC prep. Some friends from KBC went to watch the Avengers in 3rd for Vincents birthday. I cant say how the movie was as i fell asleep during the movie, but from what i heard it was good.
